    Let \(L^2_a(\mathbb{D})\) be the classical Bergman space on the open unit disk \(\mathbb{D}\) and \(k_z(w)=\frac{1-|z|^2}{(1-\overline{z}w)^2}\) be its normalized reproducing kernels. For \(a\in\mathbb{D}\), the authors introduce a selfadjoint unitary operator defined on \(L^2_a(\mathbb{D})\) by \[ U_a:f\mapsto(f\circ \phi_a)k_a, \] where \(\phi_a(z)=\frac{a-z}{1-\overline{a}z}~(z\in\mathbb{D})\), and obtain some estimates for \(\|U_a-T\| \) when \(T\) is a positive bounded linear operator on \(L^2_a(\mathbb{D})\). They also obtain certain distance estimates between Toeplitz operators with bounded harmonic symbols.
