A new algebraic object is introduced called kite. A kite of an \(l\)-group \(G\) is defined with the help of products (with some sets of coordinates) of positive and negative cones of \(G\). This construction is useful, since any kite is a BL-algebra, and as special cases of kites five known algebras can be obtained. As applications subdirectly irreducible kites are described and Boolean algebras are covered by BL-algebras.
