It is shown that a new approach for describing the statistics of large regular statistical system in statistical physics, for both classical and quantum systems, can be based on a pair of Orlicz spaces involving the exponential \(L^{(\mathrm{cosh}-1)}\) and the logarithm \(L\log(L+1)\). One considers finite measure and infinite measure on the one hand, commutative and non-commutative statistical systems on the other hand.
