    Using the semigroup approach the authors discuss well-posedness of the fluid-structure interaction with the Kutta-Joukowski flow conditions in force. Let \(\mathbb R^3_+\) be the half-space \(z\geq 0\) with the plane boundary \(\mathbb R^2\) divided onto two parts \(\Omega\) and \(\Omega'=\mathbb R^2 \backslash \Omega\) where \(\partial\Omega\) is smooth. The problem is stated as the coupled 2D-3D boundary value problem: \(u_{tt} + \Delta^2 u + f(u) = \psi|_{z=0}\) in \(\Omega \times [0,T]\) with initial conditions and boundary conditions on \(\partial \Omega \times [0,T]\); \((\partial_t+ U \partial_x)^2 \phi = \Delta \phi\) in \(\mathbb R^3_+ \times [0,T]\) with initial conditions and the boundary conditions \(\partial_z \phi = (\partial_t+ U \partial_x) u\) on \(\Omega \times [0,T]\) and \((\partial_t+ U \partial_x) \phi =0\) on \(\Omega \times [0,T]\).
