The authors consider an extended class of operators, which include, as a particular case, some fractional powers of the Laplacian. They consider minimization problems with prescribed boundary values. They prove general Harnack estimates for nonnegative minima of these operators. This interesting results recover and extend fundamental results due to Caffarelli and Silvestre and DiBenedetto and Trudinger.
