Uniform global asymptotic stability for oscillators with superlinear damping (Q2512677)

The authors obtain a sufficient condition for the equilibrium of the damped superlinear oscillator \[ x'' +h(t)\phi_q (x')+\omega^2x=0, \] where \(\omega>0\) and \(\phi_q(z)=|z|^{q-2}z\) with \(q\geq 2\), to be uniformly globally asymptotically stable under the assumption that the damping coefficient \(h(t)\) is integrally positive.
