The authors answer the question of whether an impulsive flow for an impulsive dynamical system acting on a compact metric space preserves an invariant probability measure. They look for a quotient structure where the motion of the impulsive semiflow could be redesigned as a continuous flow, defined on a different compact metric space. They find reasonable assumptions on the impulse outcome and its time schedule that allow them to find an invariant probability measure for the impulsive flow. Some properties for the non-wandering sets of impulsive semiflows are also obtained.
