Dynamical system methods and Melnikov method are used to investigate small amplitude perturbations of some implicit differential equations arising in RLC circuits. The authors establish some conditions under which solutions joining two singularities persist after a small forcing, and then, they extend the result to a wider class of implicit differential equations.
