In this paper, the authors study the spectral properties of a Laplacian defined on a two-dimensional bounded domain \(\Omega\), punctured by a small hole \(K_\epsilon\), for \(\varepsilon > 0\) a parameter tending to zero. No assumptions are placed on the smoothness of the boundary of \(\Omega\) iteslf, while the hole \(K_\varepsilon\) is assumed to have a Lipschitz boundary. Dirichlet or Neumann conditions are placed on the boundary of \(\Omega\). A Robin condition is imposed on the boundary of \(K_\varepsilon\), characterized by a certain coefficient \(\gamma_{k_\varepsilon}\) that is asked to satisfy \(\gamma_{k_\varepsilon} = o(\varepsilon^{-1/2})\) as \(\varepsilon \to 0\). The authors demonstrate spectral convergence, in the Hausdorff distance sense, of the spectrum of the Laplacian defined on the perturbed domain \(\Omega \setminus K_\varepsilon\), to the spectrum of the Laplacian defined on the original domain \(\Omega\).
