Polynilpotent capability of a pair of Lie algebras (Q6101404)

The purpose of this paper is to extend the concept of capability of a Lie algebra to polynilpotent capability of a pair (N,L) of Lie algebras and to introduce a criterion for polynilpotent capability. Concepts generalized from Lie algebras to pairs of Lie algebras are the polynomial Schur multiplier, polynomial capability and the polynomial upper and lower central series. It is shown how to construct, from a pair of Lie algebras, a capable pair of Lie algebras. A number of further results involving these concepts are also shown.
