In this paper, the spectral decomposition and the spectral representation of the solution of the Cauchy problem \(\dot x(t)=Ax(t), t \in \mathbb R\), for the Hamilton operator \(A\) in a Hilbert space \(X\) are considered. The solution of the Cauchy problem is understood in the weak sense or in the sense of Krein. A relationship between the continuity of these solutions is established. The spectrum of the corresponding Schrödinger operator is studied and the spectral decomposition and the spectral representation of the solution are obtained. The obtained results are applied to specific operators in \( L_{2} \left (R \right) \otimes \mathbb C^ {2} \). In this case, the spectrum and the generalized eigenfunctions of the Schrödinger operator are found, the continuity of the Green operator is established, and the corresponding spectral representation and the expansion of eigenfunctions are constructed. Finally, the class \(\mathcal{S}^m\) is used to demonstrate the validity of the imposed conditions for elliptic pseudodifferential operators.
