A kernel function on a set \(X\) is said to have property \((SP)_{n+1}\) if, for any set \(Z=\{z_j\}_{j=1}^{n}\) of distinct points in \(X\) and any \(z_0\in X\backslash Z\), there exists a multiplier \(\varphi\) such that \[ \|\varphi\|\leq 1, \, \varphi(z_j)=0 \text{ for } 1\leq j\leq n, \text{ and } \varphi(z_0)=d(z_0,Z). \] A Schwarz-Pick kernel is a kernel that has property \((SP)_{n+1}\) for every natural \(n\). For a Hilbert space \(H\) with an \((SP)_{2}\)-kernel, an analog of the Blaschke factor is constructed. In [J. Math. Sci., New York 209, No. 5, 743--752 (2015; Zbl 1348.46029); translation from Zap. Nauchn. Semin. POMI 424, 126--140 (2014)], the author established convergence on compact sets of partial Blaschke products arising from a sequence of points that satisfies the Blaschke condition. In the paper under review, the following results are proved: (1) only a finite number of Blaschke factors may vanish on each fixed compact set; (2) partial Blaschke products multiplied by a kernel function converge in norm; and (3) a characterization of \((SP)_{2}\)-kernels is obtained in terms of positive semidefiniteness of a certain function depending on the kernel. Several interesting applications are given for weighted Hardy spaces over the unit disk as well the Drury-Arveson space over the unit ball.
