For a simply-connected closed oriented manifold \(X\) of dimension \(m\), the loop space homology \(\mathbb{H}_{*}(X)\) (with a shift of degree \(m\)) of \(X\) is isomorphic to the Hochschild cohomology group \(HH^{*}(C^{*}(X))\) of the singular cochain algebra \(C^{*}(X)\) as Gerstenhaber algebras. In case \(X\) has the minimal Sullivan model \((\wedge V, d)\), \(HH^{*}(C^{*}(X))\) is further isomorphic to the Hochschild cohomology group \(HH^{*}(\wedge V)\) of \((\wedge V, d)\) [\textit{Y. Félix} and \textit{J.-C. Thomas}, Bull. Soc. Math. Fr. 136, No. 2, 311--327 (2008; Zbl 1160.55006)]. However, this does not mean \(\mathbb{H}_{*}(X)\) is computable. To address this situation, the author assume \(V\) is finite dimensional and show that the Gerstenhaber product on \(\mathbb{H}_{*}(X)\) coincides with that on the cohomology group of \(\wedge V \otimes\wedge s^{-1} V^{\#}\), where \(s^{-1}\) denotes the desuspension and \(V^{\#}\) the graded dual of \(V\). This may sound like a small improvement, but the result allows us to reinterpret the structure of \(\mathbb{H}_{*}(X)\) by means of the Hochschild cohomology groups and the minimal Sullivan models, and provides another method to compute \(\mathbb{H}_{*}(X)\).
