The paper under review deals with the following skew-symmetric Chern-Simons system \[ \begin{cases} \Delta u_1 + \frac{1}{\varepsilon^2} e^{u_2}(1 - e^{u_1}) = 4 \pi\sum_{i = 1}^{N_1} \delta_{p_i^1} \\ \Delta u_2 + \frac{1}{\varepsilon^2} e^{u_1}(1 - e^{u_2}) = 4 \pi\sum_{i = 1}^{N_2} \delta_{p_i^2} \end{cases} \] over a parallelogram \(\Omega\) with doubly periodic boundary condition with a coupling parameter \(\varepsilon>0\) and the Dirac \(\delta_p\) measure. The main result of the authors establishes the existence of bubbling solutions to the above system. More precisely, it is proved that if \((N_1-1)(N_2-1)>1\), then there exists \(\varepsilon_0>0\) such that for any \(\varepsilon\in(0,\varepsilon_0)\) the Chern-Simons system admits a solution \((u_{1,\varepsilon},u_{2,\varepsilon})\) such that \(u_{1,\varepsilon}\) and \(u_{2,\varepsilon}\) blow up simultaneously at a point \(p^*\) and \[ \dfrac{1}{\varepsilon^2} e^{u_{j,\varepsilon}}(1-e^{u_{i,\varepsilon}}) \to 4\pi N_i\delta_{p^*},\quad 1\leq i,j\leq 2, \quad i\neq j, \] as \(\varepsilon\to 0\). The location of the point \(p^*\) is defined by the parameters of the system.
