    The rearrangement \(f^*\) of a \(\mu\)-measurable function \(f\) is defined for \(t > 0\) by \[ f^*(t)=\inf\{ \alpha >0: \mu\{x: |f(x)| > \alpha \} \leq t\}. \] In this paper the method of using rearrangements is extended to give sufficient conditions for Fourier inequalities between weighted \(L^p(W)\) spaces and weighted \(L^q(U)\) spaces, \[ \left(\int_{\mathbb{R}^n}|\hat{f}(y)|^qU(y)\;dy\right)^{1/q} \leq C \left(\int_{\mathbb{R}^n}|f(x)|^pW(x)\;dx\right)^{1/p}, \] when \(2\leq q <p \) and \(1 <q < p \leq 2\).
