The author analyses an inverse scattering problem for magnetic Schrödinger operators on the region \(\mathbb{R}^2\setminus B(0, r)\) (for \(r > 0\) fixed). The procedure starts with the typical analysis of the corresponding direct problem. As crucial steps, a gauge condition is considered for the magnetic potential and the complex angular momentum method is used. Up to a gauge choice, the main conclusion is that the scattering matrix (at a fixed energy) uniquely determines the electric potential and the magnetic field outside the obstacle (for radial, smooth and compactly supported electric potentials and magnetic fields).
