In this paper the authors introduce the theory of enriched \(\infty\)-operads by providing two models. The first of these is an analog of Barwick's theory of Segal operads, the second is closely related to the theory of dendroidal sets. In both cases the main innovation is the construction of a suitable indexing category (\(\mathbf{\Delta}_{\mathbb{F}}^{\mathcal{V}}\) in the first case, \(\Omega^{\mathcal{V}}\) in the second) on which the authors then consider presheaves satisfying a number of conditions among which, of course, a Segal condition. Much of this work can be seen as an extension of work by Gepner-Haugseng on the theory of enriched \(\infty\)-categories. As in that source, the authors show here that localizing the theory with respect to fully faithful and essentially surjective maps corresponds to completion, in the sense of Rezk. The main results of this paper are a comparison between the two stated models, as well as a rigidification result: for a symmetric monoidal model category \(\mathbf{V}\) satisfying some reasonable conditions, the homotopy theory of \(\mathbf{V}\)-enriched operads is equivalent to the homotopy theory of \(\infty\)-operads enriched in the symmetric monoidal \(\infty\)-category \(\mathcal{V}\) associated to \(\mathbf{V}\).
