The author studies a spin system whose Hamiltonian is given by the pure two-spin Sherrington-Kirkpatrick Hamiltonian plus the Curie-Weiss Hamiltonian with coupling constant $J > 0$. The spins are assumed to be independent and identically distributed Rademacher random variables. The paramagnetic regime, that is, the case where the inverse temperature $0 < \beta < 1/2$ and the coupling constant $J$ are such that $\beta J < 1/2$ is explored. Using a dense subgraph conditioning technique, the author proves that the free energy of this spin system is asymptotically Gaussian and can be approximated by linear spectral statistics.
