The paper under review deals with the homogenization of second-order parabolic systems in divergence form with rapidly oscillating periodic and time-dependent coefficients. Namely, the authors study the family of parabolic systems \[ (\mathcal{L}_\epsilon+\partial_t)u_\epsilon =F, \qquad \epsilon>0\, , \] where \(\mathcal{L}_\epsilon\) is introduced by setting \[ \mathcal{L}_\epsilon\equiv -\mathrm{div}\Big(A(x,/\epsilon,t/\epsilon^2)\nabla\Big)\, , \] where the coefficient matrix \(A=A(y,s)\) is real, is periodic, satisfies an ellipticity condition and a certain smoothness assumption. The authors obtain pointwise estimates of the Green's matrices, uniform boundary Lipschitz estimates, boundary Hölder estimates and non-tangential maximum function estimates in \(C^{1,\eta}\) or \(C^1\) cylinders for the solution \(u_\epsilon\) to boundary value problems for \(\mathcal{L}_\epsilon+\partial_t\).
