The authors introduce the notions of a relatively uniformly closed operator and relatively uniformly densely defined operator on a vector lattice, and investigate the generators of relatively uniformly continuous positive semigroups. They also introduce the notion of exponentially order bounded semigroups and study the properties of their generators. The authors show that every exponentially order bounded, relatively uniformly continuous, positive semigroup is uniquely determined by its generator.
