The paper under review concerns the classical theory of infinitesimal bendings of surfaces in \(\mathbb R^3\). The authors consider two particular families of surfaces, developable surfaces without flat regions and biconnected surfaces of revolution, and prove that every surface in question, \(F\subset \mathbb R^3\), is analytically inflexible under the condition that \(F\) is fastened along a curve \(\gamma\subset F\) with respect to a point and a plane in \(\mathbb R^3\).
