The complete Euler system including also the conservation of energy is a hyperbolic system which is ill-posed. This was proven by applying a method of convex integration, i.e., a non-constructive method. There arises a natural question whether one can obtain a weak solution to the Euler system as a weak limit of a suitable approximation. The present paper analyzes this question, and the main theorem claims that such weak limit is always pointwise convergent and, under certain additional assumption, it is strong. It is worth noting that the main claim is effective for a broad variety of approximations and it covers also a viscous approximation as well as any sequence of numerical solutions.
