In this article, the author extends his ideas used in [Res. Number Theory 6, No. 1, Paper No. 5, 10 p. (2020; Zbl 1454.11186)], to prove infinite families of congruences for the partition function \(p_{[1^{c} l^{d}]}(n)\) modulo powers of \(l\) for any integers \(c\) and \(d\), for primes \(5 \le l \le 17\); and also studies two parameter-family of partition generating functions \(p_{[1^{c} l^{d}]}(n)\). The author revisits \textit{A. O. L. Atkin}'s proofs [Can. J. Math. 20, 67--78 (1968; Zbl 0164.35101)] and extends his result for \(p_{[1^{c} l^{d}]}(n)\) for the primes \(5,7\), and \(13\). The author also proves congruences for \(l=17\) using the work of \textit{K. Hughes} [Can. J. Math. 43, No. 3, 506--525 (1991; Zbl 0733.11036)] on \(k\)-color partitions modulo powers of \(17\); congruences and incongruences for \(l\)-colored generalized Frobenius partitions, \(l\)-regular partitions, and \(l\)-core partitions for \(l = 5, 7, 11\), and 13; incongruences for \(17\)-regular, and \(17\)-core partitions. The proofs use an explicit basis for the vector space of modular functions on the congruence subgroup \(\Gamma_{0}(l)\) along with other related properties. Several new results are developed which are original contributions on the subject, they are interesting and useful for the researchers.
