Let \(m\) and \(n\) be relatively prime positive integers such that \(0<m<n/2\) and \(n\geq 3\). Let \(\mathbb K\) be an imaginary quadratic field. Let \(a\) and \(b\) be algebraic integers in \(\mathbb K\) such that either \(0<b/a<1\) is rational number or \(|b/a| =1\). Under the specific conditions the author proves that for all algebraic integers \(p\) and \(q\) in \(\mathbb K\) with \(q\not= 0\) we have \[\left|\left(\frac ab\right)^{\frac mn}-\frac pq\right| >\frac 1{c|q|^K}\] where \(c\) and \(K\) are constants which are exactly described in the paper.
