    I. Maddox has generalized a classical summability result of Schur to infinite matrices whose entries are continuous linear operators between Banach spaces. In this paper we give a generalization of another classical summability result of Hahn which asserts that an infinite matrix sums all bounded sequences iff it sums all sequences of 0's and 1's to the case where the matrix has entries which are continuous linear operators. We also give a generalization to the operator case of the classical result of Schur on the equivalence of norm and weak convergence of sequences in \(\ell^ 1\).
