    L. V. Kantorovich introduced a modification of the classical Bernstein polynomials and proved that for every function \(f\in L(0,1)\) the sequence of these polynomials converges a.e. to \(f\) on the interval \([0,1]\). We give a generalization of the Kantorovich's result. We shall prove that if \(f\) is defined on the unit cube \(Q\) of \(\mathbb R^d\) \((d\in \mathbb N)\) and the integral of \(f\) is strongly differentiable at a point \(x\in Q\) then the sequence of the Kantorovich polynomials converges to \(f(x)\).
