A set of rather unwieldy conditions on the asymptotics of a function of several variables, when some of the variables are large and some are small, are abstracted, which are shared by the regularized Feynman integrands of a field theory involving possibly zero-mass fields. In terms of these sufficient conditions for absolute convergence of the Feynman integrals (power-counting theorem) are given. Also, the resulting asymptotical bounds for the Feynman amplitude when some of the external momenta are large and other are small in the same process can be described in the same frame. Applications raise delicate problems related to the removal of the regularization in the Minkowski case and are postponed to another publication.
