This is a continuation of the work by \textit{S. Kirkland} [Linear Multilinear Algebra 30, No.~4, 261-274 (1991; Zbl 0751.15009)]. It provides inclusion regions for the spectra of 1-hypertournament matrices. The inclusion regions are described by a curve relating the real and the imaginary parts to each other and to the score variance. The dependence of the bounds on the score variance is discussed. The approach relies on the Schur lemma. Basic facts about the field of values of a matrix are given.
