The authors study the problem of waves propagation from moving sources in dispersive media. Specifically, the time-frequency integrals and the two-dimensional stationary phase method are applied to the analysis of the problem. They provide explicit expressions for the fields, and some supporting examples such as the moving source fields in the plasma, the Cherenkov radiation, and the Doppler frequency shift in metamaterial, are studied as well.
