An introduction to Eulerian geometrical optics (1992--2002) (Q1418872)

This is sort of a review article on the topic that outlines different approaches undertaken during the last ten years. The first three sections introduce the mathematical models that are usually used in the literature. The numerics behind the ray-tracing method are reviewed, and some basic information on viscosity single-valued solutions and their computations are given. The remaining sections present different categories of numerical methods used for Eulerian geometrical optics.
