The authors consider stationary solutions of the discrete difference equation \[ (\lambda+L^{\omega})\phi_{\lambda}(x;\omega)=-\partial^{\ast}b(x;\omega ),\quad \lambda>0, \] where for \(u:\;\mathbb{Z}\rightarrow\mathbb{R},\) \[ \begin{aligned} L^{\omega}u(x) & :=\partial^{\ast}[a(x;\omega)\partial u(x)],\quad \partial u(x):=u(x+1)-u(x),\;\\ \partial^{\ast}u(x) & :=u(x-1)-u(x),\quad x\in\mathbb{Z}.\end{aligned} \] The coefficients \(\{a(x;\omega),b(x;\omega),x\in\mathbb{Z}\}\) form a stationary random field over a probability space \((\Omega,\mathcal{F} ,\mathbb{P}).\) The authors study the limiting behavior of \(\phi_{\lambda}(x),\) as \(\lambda\to 0\). In particular, they prove that under some conditions the \(L^{2}\) norm \(\|\phi_{\lambda}(0)\|_{\mathbb{P}}\) behaves as \(C\lambda^{-1/4}\) as \(\lambda\ll1,\;C>0\) is a constant.
