The authors study the set \(L\) of eigenvalues which correspond to eigenvectors with a given sign pattern. In particular, they give computable bounds on elements of \(L\) by means of two nonnegative vectors which satisfy some easily verifiable conditions, show when the bounds are exact, and show how to check whether \(L\) is a subset of a given interval.
