The stability of linear delay systems with uncertain coefficients and delays may be reduced to studying the quasipolynomial family \(Q = \{q (s,a, \tau) = \sum^{ N,K}_{n,k = 0} a_{n,k} s^n e^{k \tau s}\}\) where \(\underline a_{n,k} \leq a_{n,k} \leq \overline a_{n, k}\), \(0 \leq \underline \tau \leq \tau \leq \overline \tau\) are known bounds. (The commensurate case is considered here.) The value set \(V_{\omega, \tau} = \{q (j \omega, a, \tau) : q \in Q\}\) is an important determining set for stability. In fact, \(Q\) is stable if and only if (1) it contains at least one stable quasipolynomial, (2) \((\sum \underline a_{0,k}) (\sum \overline a_{0,k}) > 0\) and (3) \(0 \notin \partial V_{\omega, \tau}\) for each \(0 < \omega \leq \overline \omega\), and \(\underline \tau \leq \tau \leq \overline \tau\), for some \(\overline \omega\). The paper is concerned with determining an efficient algorithm for checking these conditions. This is based on labelling the support functions of \(V_{\omega, \tau}\).
