This is a continuation of the authors previous article [Integral Equations and Operator Theory 10, 258-289 (1987)]. For a pure subnormal operator S on a separable Hilbert space \({\mathcal H}\) with minimal normal extension N on a separable Hilbert space \({\mathcal K}\subset {\mathcal H}\) the dual operator S' (which is defined to be the restriction of N * to \({\mathcal K}{\mathcal H})\) is a pure subnormal operator, too. For such operators the notion of the mosaic is redefined and a relation between the mosaics of S and S' is given. For every \(f\in {\mathcal K}\) analytic vector-valued functions on \(\rho\) (N) and \(\rho\) (N *) are introduced, which lead to corresponding representations of S and S'. If the self-commutator of S is compact, the values of the mosaic are shown to be of finite rank, which implies that any point in \(\rho\) (N) is a Fredholm point of S. If the self-commutator is a trace class operator, a connection to the Pincus principal function is established, and if the self-commutator has finite rank, a representation as an operator on a function space is given.
