Note on the Erdős-Szekeres theorem (Q1387857)

The authors give the following improvement of the well-known Erdős-Szekeres convex \(n\)-gon theorem: Each set of \({\binom {2n-5}{n-2}}+2 \) points in general position contains \(n\)-points in convex position, i.e. forming the vertex set of a convex \(n\)-gon.
