We quote the author's words: ``Let \(R\) be a commutative ring with identity, and \(M\) a unitary \(R\)-module. \(M\) is called multiplication module if every submodule \(N\) of \(M\) is of the form \(MI\) for some ideal \(I\) of \(R\). -- In this work we use the endomorphism ring of the module to introduce the concept of a semi-multiplication module as a generalization of the concept of a multiplication module. In section 2 we show that the class of semi-multiplication modules contains the class of finitely generated projective modules properly. Some properties of semi- multiplication modules are also given in this section. In section 3 we study the trace ideal of a semi-multiplication module''.
