The authors study flat surfaces \(\Sigma\) with a flat normal bundle in the Lorentzian space \({\mathcal L}^4\). They show that there is a canonical conformal structure on \(\Sigma\) such that the Gauss map is conformal. The main result is a global conformal representation through a pair \((f,\omega)\), consisting of a holomorphic function \(f\) and a nowhere vanishing holomorphic 1-form \(\omega\) (Weierstrass data), and a closed 1-form \(\theta\) (metric 1-form). This representation allows to describe examples of complete surfaces \(\Sigma\) and to characterize those lying in some hyperquadrics of \({\mathcal L}^4\).
