Let \(D_L\) be the set of plane domains \(\Omega\) in \(\mathbb{R}^2\) so that \(\Omega\) is simply connected and real analytic, so that \(\Omega\) is \(\mathbb{Z}_2\times \mathbb{Z}_2\) symmetric across two orthogonal axes, so that at least one axis of \(\Omega\) is a non-degenerate bouncing ball orbit \(\gamma\) of length \(2L\), and so that \(2L\) has multiplicity one in the length spectrum of \(\Omega\). Let \(\text{Spec}(\Omega)\) be the spectrum of the Laplacian on \(\Omega\) with Dirichlet boundary conditions. The author shows that Spec\((\Omega)\) determines \(\Omega\) in this setting by determining \(\Omega\) from the wave invariants associated to \(\gamma\). The assumption that \(\Omega\) is simply connected implies the boundary is connected.
