Let \(G=G(k,V)\) be the Grassmannian of k-dimensional spaces in the n- dimensional vector space V (over the field \({\mathbb{C}}\); one can take any field \(k=\bar k\), char k\(=0)\). This note is devoted to the description of the derived category of algebraic coherent sheaves on G - \(D^ b_{coh}(G).\) If there is given a collection of nonincreasing integers \(\alpha =(\alpha_ 1,...\alpha_ p)\), \(\alpha_ i\leq 0\) (a Young diagram with lengths of rows \(\alpha_ i)\), then for any vector space W we denote by \(\sum^{\alpha}W\) the space of irreducible representations of GL(W) with highest weight \(\alpha\). By \(| \alpha |\) we denote \(\sum \alpha_ i\), by \(\alpha^*\) the dual Young diagram; \((\alpha^*)_ i\) is equal to the collection of j such that \(\alpha_ j\geq i\). For each \(\alpha =(\alpha_ 1,...\alpha_ k)\) of length less than or equal to k, we form the graded \(\Lambda^{\bullet}(V^*)\)-module \(M_{\alpha}\), consisting of those irreducible components \(\sum_{\beta}V^*\) in the expansion of \(\Lambda^ i(V^*)\otimes \sum^{\alpha}V^*\) for any i, for which there are no more than k rows in the diagram \(\beta\). Theorem. \(D^ b_{coh}(G(k,V))\) is equivalent as a triangulated category with the homotopy category of finite complexes of graded \(\Lambda^{\bullet}(V^*)\)-modules, consisting of finite direct sums of modules \(M_{\alpha}\), where \(\alpha =(\alpha_ 1,...,\alpha_ k)\), \(\alpha_ i\leq n-k\), for all i. (Morphisms of modules are of degree 0.)
