    Let \(B\) be a Banach space and \({\mathcal L}(B)\) the Banach algebra of all bounded linear operators on \(B\) with operator norm. Let \(\ell_ p(\mathbb{Z}^ n,B)\) be the Banach space of the \(B\)-valued functions on \(\mathbb{Z}^ n\) with norm \[ \| f\|_{\ell_ p}= \left(\sum_{\alpha\in \mathbb{Z}^ n} \| f(\alpha)\|^ p_ B\right)^{1/p}\quad (1\leq p< \infty),\quad \| f\|_{\ell_ \infty}= \sup_ \alpha \| f(\alpha)\|_ B. \] The author studies the Noetherian property of an operator \(A\) on \(\ell_ p(\mathbb{Z}^ n,B)\) which belongs to the Banach algebra generated by the multiplication operators by functions \(a\in \ell_ \infty(\mathbb{Z}^ n,{\mathcal L}(B))\) and the translation operators \(\tau_ h\) defined by \((\tau_ h f)(x)= f(x- h)\), \(h\in \mathbb{Z}^ n\). He makes the best of the technique of ``limit operators'' used in the previous work, \textit{B. V. Lange} and the author [Mat. Zametki 37, No. 3, 407-421 (1985; Zbl 0569.47029)], which treated the case where \(B= {\mathcal L}(B)= C\) (scalar case). The result is applied to integro-difference operators on locally compact, noncompact Abelian groups.
