In a sequel to their paper in Math. Semesterber. 30, 206-227 (1983; Zbl 0522.51020) the authors study algebraic curves in \({\mathbb{R}}^ 2\) which are mapped into themselves by the reflection-inversion \(S(y):=-\| y\|^{-2}y\) \((y\in {\mathbb{R}}^ 2\setminus \{(0,0)\}\), a birational transformation of the plane. It is shown that every curve with this property is, essentially, the combined image of two homeomorphic models of a real projective algebraic curve in the standard model of \(P^ 2({\mathbb{R}})\). Curves of low degree possessing this property are then identified.
