The author shares his views on quantum gravity, taking for granted that it reconciles general relativity and quantum mechanics. In particular, he advocates (a) the sum-over-geometries formalism against the canonical quantization approach of quantum fields, essentially because of the `time problem'; (b) a Lorentzian metric with a dynamic topology; (c) a constraint over spacetime volume for improving convergence.
