The authors look for a general existence theorem of equilibria for the Arrow-Debreu model of an economy with indivisible goods and money. To this aim they discuss successfully such classes of pseudoconvex sets, which are closed with respect to summation and call them discrete convex. They prove existence theorems using such classes, convexification and the Kakutani fixed point theorem. Then they show, that such classes really exist, e.g. the class of integral generalized polymatroids, and that existence proofs in models, mentioned in the introduction of this paper, can be subordinated to their case.
