Let \(\alpha>1\) be an irrational number. In this paper, the author deals with partitions of \(n\) with summands chosen from the Beaty sequence \((\lfloor\alpha m\rfloor)\). Let \(p_\alpha(n)\) and \(q_\alpha(n)\) be the number of such partitions of \(n\) into summands and distinct summands, respectively. Furthermore, let \(\| x\|:=\min_{n\in\mathbb{Z}}| x-n|\). The real number \(\mu\) is called irrationality exponent of \(\alpha\) if \(0<q^{-1}\| q\alpha\|<q^{-\mu}\) has at most finitely many solutions \(q\in\mathbb{N}\). Let \(\mu(\alpha)\) be the infimum of such irrationality exponents \(\mu\). It is called the irrationality measure of \(\alpha\). If \(\mu(\alpha)=\infty\), then \(\alpha\) is called a Liouville number. In this paper, the author obtains asymptotic formulas for \(p_\alpha(n)\) and \(q_\alpha(n)\), as \(n\to\infty\), whenever \(\alpha>1\) is a Liouville number. In this way, he fills a gap of the knowledge in this direction since previous studies determine only the asymptotic behavior of \(\log{p_\alpha(n)}\) and \(\log{q_\alpha(n)}\) for a Liouville number \(\alpha\).
