The authors construct a thermodynamically consistent multiscale homogenization theory for thermo-poroplastic materials, which allows the formulation of multiphysical coupling. They summarize the thermodynamic framework of the constitutive equations for saturated porous media under non-isothermal conditions. The particular case of thermo-poroelastic constitutive equations is analyzed. Some numerical examples are provided.
