The authors consider the numerical solution of the Stokes problem and introduce a patch reconstruction finite element method. First of all, they take a look at a reconstruction operator and give an insight into the discontinuous Galerkin (DG) method. Based on this, they state the weak formulation for their problem, especially the interior penalty DG. In more detail, the inf-sup condition is valid numerically, where different choices of velocity-pressure pairs are compared. One of the main results is that ``The numerical results demonstrate that our finite element space possesses more robust properties than the traditional finite element space'' (page 9). Finally, they also present further numerical examples.
