The main result of this note says that under some condition (A), weaker than the hemicompactness, a set-valued continuous random operator has a random fixed point iff it has a deterministic fixed point. This is a slight generalization of Theorem 2.3 of \textit{K. K. Tan} and \textit{X. Z. Yuan} [J. Math. Anal. Appl. 185, No. 2, 378-390 (1994; Zbl 0856.47036)].
