In the context of non-autonomous dynamical systems (that is, systems defined by a sequence of independent continuous maps rather than the iterates of a single continuous map), a notion of weak stability is introduced. Non-autonomous systems arise naturally in settings where, for example, a map is perturbed at each iteration. It is shown here that the set of weakly stable points is residual, and the relationship between weak stability and shadowing of orbits is explored.
