This paper investigates the topological recursion, related to the Witten-Kontsevich theorem and tau-function for the KdV hierarchy of the moduli space of stable curves, applied to spectral curve $xy^2 = \frac{1}{2}$, which the authors called Bessel curve. Then the authors obtained similar results to the studies on the Airy curve $y^2=x$, e.g., [\textit{B. Eynard} and \textit{N. Orantin}, J. Phys. A, Math. Theor. 42, No. 29, Article ID 293001, 117 p. (2009; Zbl 1177.82049)].
