The author develops a rigorous quantum theory of continuous in time nondemolition measurements in terms of noncommutative stochastic differential equations. These results give mathematical foundations for the existing phenomenological dynamial theories of continual measurements. The general theory is illustrated by the examples of quasi- free bosonic systems.
